  • RM alderman found campaign valuable Apr 18, 2011 1:00 AM
My sincere thanks to all the 3rd Ward residents that supported my campaign to be your alderman for another four years. I am humbled to say the least. A special thank you to all the residents who allowed me to place campaign signs in their lawns, and also to the great campaign staff I had that gave so many hours of their time to make sure we got our message out to the residents. Campaigning is one of the hardest things anyone goes through to try to make a difference in their community.

I look forward to serving all of you to the best of my ability. You should expect nothing less.

  • Bell-LaSota, Malay for St. Charles council Mar 29, 2011 3:01 PM
There are two people running for alderman that are opposed to construction of the Rod Gate bridge in St. Charles. They both show independent thought concerning the Red Gate issue instead of the “rubber stamp” appearance of the current city council. For this reason, the River Bend Community Group is endorsing Vanessa Bell-LaSota for 3rd Ward Alderman and Kim Malay for 5th Ward Alderman.
