    The eight people running for trustee on the Grafton Township board have varying views on how to handle the township's finances. Last month, the township was forced to borrow money from the road district in order to make payroll and to pay other bills. The township board was scheduled to hold a special meeting last week to move other money around, but the trustees decided to wait until Thursday, when their attorney can attend, Township Supervisor Linda Moore said.

Reading from a prepared statement, Moore said she was disappointed with the results but thankful to all of her volunteers and supporters.

Five of the Doing Things Better group's six candidates also won.
