    The Hoffman Estates Redhawks football team became national champions Friday morning by defeating the Deer Valley Snakes of Arizona 16-0 in the Pop Warner Division II Junior Pee Wee Division Super Bowl in Orlando. The Redhawks are boys 9 to 11 years old from Hoffman Estates and neighboring suburbs who won the opportunity to compete in the national championships by completing a perfect 13-0 season this fall.

His ruling upheld the NFL's decision last month to suspend Peterson without pay for the remainder of the season and not consider him for reinstatement until April 15.
