    Sean Giambrone is a 15-year-old suburban kid with a double life. For part of his life — about half the year — he’s a normal Maine South High School sophomore, playing soccer and video games with his friends in Park Ridge. The rest of the time, he’s a Hollywood star.     Maine South and Maine East will renew their longtime rivalry on Thursday when they square off in the championship game at the Class 4A Elk Grove girls volleyball regional. The Hawks and the Blue Demons advanced with semifinal wins on Tuesday. Maine South fought off a scrappy Elgin squad for a 25-21, 25-15 win while Maine East, which is seeded third in its own sectional, was taken to the limit by 14th-seeded South Elgin before prevailing 25-22, 20-25, 25-15.

He called timeout and did some major league screaming at his Hawks. I just wanted them to play like the good team they are, Lavorato said. His high-volume speech got through as Warren (10-6) never scored again before halftime. In a back-and-forth game at Warren, the streaking Blue Devils won their fifth game in a row, 48-43, and dealt just the third loss of the season to the visiting Hawks.
