  • Group plans to keep Itasca Country Club a golf course Sep 8, 2014 11:15 AM
    Itasca Country Club has been acquired by a group planning to keep it as a golf course and social club. The move comes after residents asked the village and DuPage County Forest Preserve District to preserve the site as open space. “We are excited about this acquisition and plan to invest significant time, energy and resources into revitalizing the Itasca Country Club for its members and the residents of Itasca,” Larry Swets, of Itasca Golf Investors LLC, said in a statement.
