    Fox Lake will host an open house tour of the Northwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility on Saturday, Oct. 19. Visitors can learn how the NWRWRF operates and protects the environment, then meet the staff who process and treat wastewater on a 24-hour basis.

And that's just the registration costs and hotel deposits for the Nov. 22-24 conference. Eight suburban districts have already spent more on the conference than they did last year. So far, 62 suburban districts have registered 532 school board members, administrators and employees at a cost of $307,647.

Officials confirmed there are rumors that cyberbullying may have played a role in the death, but so far there is no indication bullying was involved. Grant High School District 124 Superintendent John Benedetti said Friday those rumors are being investigated and are so far unfounded.
