    The Bartlett Public Library will host a Baby Fair for new and expectant parents from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Sept. 6. Representatives from local agencies and organizations will be available in the library’s meeting room, 800 S. Bartlett Road, to answer questions and provide resources about the care and well-being of your baby’s first year.

     
  • Veronica Roth’s ‘Divergent’ featured in Bartlett Public Library’s Community Reading event Aug 11, 2014 9:04 AM
    The Bartlett Public Library marks the month of September with its second annual community reading event, Bartlett Reads, featuring “Divergent” by Veronica Roth. The library will kick off Bartlett Reads by giving away 25 copies of the popular novel. Stop by the Reference Desk, starting Tuesday, Sept. 2, to pick up a copy — one per person while supplies last. There will also be a showing of the movie, “Divergent,” at 11 a.m. Sept. 2 in the library’s meeting room.

Main St. Tea and refreshments will be served. Martha will be portrayed by Lynn Rymarz, who will tell the role the first lady played in becoming the "Founding Mother" of the United States.   • All 3 challengers win Bartlett library board race Apr 10, 2013 2:50 PM
    The three challengers appear to have defeated the lone incumbent in the Bartlett Public Library District board race. With all seven precincts reporting, unofficial results show newcomers Ed Novak and Dave Barry led the way with 897 votes and 831 votes, respectively. Francine Byron held onto the third and final spot with 394 votes, edging out two-term incumbent Thomas Perkins.

     
  • Bartlett Library candidate says she wasn’t invited to forum Mar 22, 2013 5:46 PM
    Out of the four candidates running for Bartlett Public Library District trustee, Francine Byron was the only one who did not speak at a candidate forum hosted by the Bartlett Woman's Club on Thursday. Byron said in an email Friday that she "had not received an invitation to speak." She said she attended the event and was surprised to see the other candidates speaking. She later found an email in her spam folder dated March 13 from a member of the woman's club regarding the event.
