Donations needed for Hanover Twp. senior holiday program

The Hanover Township Department of Senior Services is in need of donations for the annual Adopt-A-Senior program for low-income Township seniors ages 55 and older.

Last year, more than 65 seniors received gifts from the holiday program.

Those interested in sponsoring a senior this holiday season can take a card off the tree at the Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett. Each card represents an item for a senior in need. Donors can remove the card from the tree, obtain and wrap the specified item and return to Social Services.

For clothing items, it is helpful to include a gift receipt. All gift items must be returned to the Senior Center by Friday, Dec. 7.

Monetary donations and gift cards are also appreciated. A check, made payable to Hanover Township, can be mailed or dropped off at Hanover Township Senior Services, 240 S. Route 59, Bartlett, 60103; Attention: Diana Mondragon.

For details, contact the Hanover Township Senior Center at (630) 483-5660.
