Itasca Dolphins swim team host fundraiser night

Itasca Dolphins Swim Team held a fundraiser night on Monday, June 11, at the Itasca McDonald's, 1301 E. Irving Park Road.

The coaches were happy to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families and raise money for the Itasca Dolphins.

Coaches as well as team organizer Denise Glennon worked at the fundraiser night. The jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, selling pies, and working the drive-thru. Coaches Luke Witteveen and Angela Shaw along with Coach Luke's sister Ella Witteveen had a great time seeing their swim team while working at McDonald's.

A special thank you goes to team parent Denise Glennon, who organized the event as well as everyone who volunteered and worked so hard to make this a fun night for the Itasca Dolphins swim team.

The team plans to use the funds raised for supplies for the team.

The Fundraiser Night was hosted by the Nelson family owner/operators. Like them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/McDonalds1301EIrvingParkRd/.
