Author Patricia M McClure speaks for Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month

In recognition of Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month join award winning Author Patricia M McClure at the Active Senior Expo presented by the Silver Star Exposition in Niles, IL. McClure will give a presentation on "Caring for a Love One with Alzheimer's" which she has first hand experience. In her book, "Losing a Hero to Alzheimer's the Story of Pearl," she shares her journey as her mother's caregiver, and unfolds the signs and symptoms of the disease. At the Active Senior Expo, McClure will give a presentation explaining the behaviors and characteristics associated with each stage. McClure wants caregivers to be as knowledgeable as possible about the disease, so they can respond appropriately.

The Active Senior Expo will inform, educate and entertain senior citizens. There will be a variety of seminars and hundreds of products, resources and services for seniors. Free health screenings, giveaways and door prizes, parking and live entertainment! The event will take place on Wednesday June 13, 2018 from 9:30 - 2:00 P.M. at White Eagles Banquets at 6839 N.
