Schaumburg Park District Beer Garden returns June 9

Back by popular demand, the Schaumburg Park District's German Beer Garden is set for 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Heritage Farm, 201 S. Plum Grove Road in Schaumburg. The event features German music, local craft beer, pretzels and refreshments.

"Whether you're a beer fanatic or simply want to spend time with your friends and family at the scenic Heritage Farm, this event is for you," said Patricia Kennedy, farm program coordinator. "Families are invited to bring a picnic dinner and have fun with backyard games."

The $5 admission fee includes one pretzel and souvenir glass. Children under 3 years old can enter for free. Beer and soda will be available for purchase, with last call at 7 p.m. The event runs rain or shine.
