Hanover Township grants $860,000 to local agencies

The Hanover Township Mental Health Board has approved $860,000 in annual funding to 29 agencies serving township residents in the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse intervention and prevention.

The Ecker Center for Mental Health received $97,000 to fund its therapy services and crisis services program.

Easter Seals of DuPage and Fox Valley Region received $62,000 to provide outpatient medical rehabilitation to township residents, and an additional $12,000 for family support services.

Community Crisis Center was awarded $75,000 for its shelter and counseling programs for victims of domestic violence, along with counseling and education programs for survivors of sexual assault.
