Edward Foundation receives $50,000 donation

For the fifth year in a row, the Exchange Club of Naperville has made a $50,000 donation to the Edward Foundation and Care Center at Edward Hospital in Naperville. The Exchange Club has donated funds to the center every year since 1991.

The Care Center, which was established in 1990, provides medical services for children and special needs adults who may have been sexually abused. It serves a nine-county area, the FBI and military bases. For details, visit www.EEHealth.org.

The Exchange Club was chartered in 1987 and is dedicated to the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence. The club has raised more than $12.5 million from its service activities at Ribfest, an annual summer festival in Naperville.

Since it was established in 1990, the Edward Foundation has raised more than $46.5 million to support community health care initiatives, invest in the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, recruit world-class medical professionals and deliver the highest quality care to almost 1.7 million patients.
