Aurora Public Library celebrates Teen Tech Week

The Aurora Public Library is celebrating Teen Tech Week with virtual reality programs for teens!

Teen Tech Week runs from March 4-10.

It's a week where libraries showcase all of the great digital resources and services that are available to help teens succeed in school and prepare for college and 21st century careers.

To celebrate this tech-oriented week, the Aurora Public Library is offering special programs for teens.

Teen Tech Week will kick off with a "Virtual Reality for Teens" program at the Santori Library, 101 S. River St. in Aurora.

With the library's virtual reality helmets, teens can explore the planet Earth, become a sword-wielding ninja, battle killer robots in outer space, and more!

This event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the Santori Library. This event will be repeated at the Eola Road Branch at 555 S. Eola Road from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 10.
