Naperville Park District to host 2018 Playground Open House Jan. 9

The Naperville Park District invites residents to help select equipment for the 2018 playground renovations planned at the following five parks: Century Farms Park, Farmington Park, Pembroke Park, University Heights Park and Yorkshire Manor Park.

The park district will host an open house meeting from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive.

Participants may view several design options for playground equipment at each of the five parks.

Parents are encouraged to bring their children and may come at any time during the given time period. There will not be a formal presentation.

"Several playground designs will be on display, with variations in color, types of slides and layout of equipment. We invite parents and children who will use the playground to help make these choices," said Project Manager Jessica Burgdorf.
