Gingerbread contest forms available

Entry forms are available for Glen Ellyn Historical Society's second annual Gingerbread Contest.

Forms and rules may be picked up at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main St., or requested by email at director@gehs.org.

Categories are available for youth, teens and adults, as well as individuals and groups. Students in Glen Ellyn will receive information about the contest and are encouraged to participate.

The gingerbread creations will be on display at the historical society's Gingerbread and Candlelight Holiday Celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.

Categories for awards are Best Group Entry, Best Individual Entry by Age Group, Best Depiction of Glen Ellyn Building or Event, Best Depiction of Historical Building or Event, Best House for Dogs (or other companion animals), Best House for Birds (or wild animals).
