Enjoy day of family fun at annual Wayne Day Oct. 7

Residents are invited to the annual Wayne Day celebration on Saturday, Oct. 7, hosted by the Wayne Historical Preservation Society. It will begin at 3 p.m. in Dunham Field, on the south side of Army Trail Road, just east of Dunham Road in Wayne.

The afternoon will include games for kids, pony rides, hay rides, a petting zoo, kite flying and more. Music will be provided by Mike O'Connell and his Grasslands Band.

Bring a picnic or purchase a pulled pork or hot dog meal, then stay for marshmallow roasting at the traditional bonfire at dusk. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Come to the big top in Dunham Field for some good old-fashioned fun!
