Naperville Area Humane Society Fundraiser at Solemn Oath Brewery

Drink to support dogs!

With the goal of doing something special to celebrate National Dog Day which takes place on Saturday, August 26, 2017, Naperville Animal Hospital reached out to Solemn Oath Brewery in Naperville, IL to create a collaborative event!

Solemn Oath was happy to participate and is inviting the public and their pets to join them on Monday, August 28th, to enjoy a beer on their new patio. Guests are also welcome to enjoy beverages inside the taproom and walk around the brewery (no dogs inside, please.) The event runs 12PM - 9PM (Solemn Oath's regular business hours) and 15% of all beer proceeds will benefit their rescue partners at Naperville Area Humane Society (NAHS). There will be giveaways for dogs as well as raffles for attendees.

Staff from Naperville Animal Hospital, longtime partners for veterinary services for NAHS, will be on hand to partake in the fun. The two groups work closely to raise awareness for rescue animals as well as donations for the rescue to continue to offer their assistance to animals in need.

"NAHS loves to partner with local businesses in our area! Events like this are a great way for pet owners to show off their pups, experience a unique Naperville based business, and raise funds for the animals that are cared for at NAHS. With the support of our community partners and friends we are able to help so many!" says Breanne Kennedy, Development Coordinator at NAHS.

Since the start of the nonprofit organization in 1979, NAHS has been running strong for 25+ years and more than 20,000 animals have been served.
