Bartlett Public Library holds annual appeal campaign

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation was established in 2000 as a means to assist the Bartlett Public Library by raising additional funds to provide for capital expenses, along with library materials and services for the use of the Bartlett Community, beyond funding available through property taxes and state grants.

The 2017-2018 Bartlett Public Library District Foundation Appeal Campaign is focusing on the need for replacing the exterior front lobby doors of the Bartlett Public Library building. The goal is to raise $10,000 toward doors to meet the current American Disability Act code and provide a welcoming atmosphere as residents and others enter the Bartlett Public Library.

During August 2017, in addition to the Annual Appeal Campaign for 2017-2018, a fundraising display with the slogan "Opportunity Knocks at the Library, Come find it for yourself as you walk through our new Front Door" is set up in the Bartlett Public Library.

Donations for the purchase and installation of the new front doors may be made at this display when visiting the Bartlett Public Library, 800 S. Bartlett Road.

The foundation accepts donations in any amount. All donations may be mailed to Bartlett Public Library District Foundation, 800 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL 60103, or dropped off at the Bartlett Public Library.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization, enabling a tax deduction for those donating funds to the foundation. Gifts of $200 and more are recognized with a plaque on the Foundation Donor Wall in the entry lobby of the Bartlett Public Library.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation appreciates the assistance of the Bartlett Community and Bartlett businesses as the foundation strives to raise funds to support the Bartlett Public Library - the Best Place to Learn and Discover - in provision of library materials and services, and providing a safe, comfortable library facility for all in the Bartlett Community.
