Glenbard Parent Series addresses athletes

Glenbard East High School athletics and the Glenbard Parent Series will present "Peak Performance: Playing with Dignity and Grace" with Levar Fisher at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, in Rider Hall at Glenbard East High School, 1014 S. Main St., Lombard.

Fisher is a former college athlete who became a professional and captained two NFL teams. He now uses his leadership role to inspire young people to channel mistakes into positive outcomes.

Fisher believes "everyone can do more, have more, and give more when motivated to give back and to be a difference-maker in the world."

Assistant Principal of Athletics D'Wayne Bates will address student-athletes and their parents, who are required to attend this presentation.
