City of St. Charles revokes tobacco license for one local business
Mayor Raymond Rogina, acting as liquor control commissioner, enforced local tobacco ordinances for one local business at the July 17, 2017, meeting of the St. Charles Liquor Control Commission.
The commission considers alcohol, tobacco and massage license issues.
The tobacco license of Rose Smoke N' Vapor Inc. at 902 S. Randall Road was revoked for selling tobacco products to a minor.
The licensee was cited for two violations on June 28, 2017 and July 3, 2017, and previously had been cited for the same violation on Feb. 9, 2017.
The license holder is required to pay a $500 fine and must cease sales of any tobacco or nicotine alternative products.
"The City of St. Charles will not tolerate the sale of tobacco or alternative nicotine products to minors," said Mayor Ray Rogina.
