St. Vincent de Paul kicks off 'LunchBoxProject'

The St. Vincent de Paul thrift store, 1125 S. Milwaukee Ave., in Libertyville, is kicking off a "LunchBoxProject" to help raise awareness and funds for the Thrift Store Voucher Program.

The Voucher Program is designed to help people get back on their feet quickly by providing free clothing, furniture and household items.

Store customers are asked to support the Voucher Program by dropping their change or lunch money into a lunchbox at the checkout counter.

"Giving up your lunch for a day can change the life of another indefinitely," said Retail Operations Director Lorraine Parisi. "Your donation will assist us in expanding our Voucher Program, which means we can reach more people in need."
