Get lunch at new Ravinia District Food Truck Thursdays

Ravinia District of Highland Park has announced the food truck and music lineup for its new summer event series, Ravinia District Food Truck Thursdays.

The public is invited to enjoy a variety of food and drinks from more than a dozen food trucks and local restaurants while listening to live outdoor musical performances from 4:30 p.m. to dusk Thursdays, June 1 through Sept. 14, on Dean Avenue, between Roger Williams and St. Johns avenues in Highland Park, and in Jens Jensen Park, across from the Ravinia Metra Station. Free parking is available.

An array of food trucks will line Dean Avenue, offering a variety of food, including options from Beaver's Coffee and Donuts, Da Lobsta, The Fat Shallot, La Cocinita, Loop Juice, Louie B Fresh Mobile Kitchen, Mike's Revenge, Wheely's Café, Yum Dum, and others, as well as two fashion trucks, Deliciously Shoes and North and Hudson.

Abigail's and Ravinia Brewery will also be on hand serving a selection of creative cocktails, wine and craft beer in Jens Jensen Park.

Live musical performances will be staged in the center of Jens Jensen Park, sponsored by Highland Park Community Foundation, Ravinia District Special Service Area 17 property owners and Life Rhythms.
