Concerts in Your Park lineup announced

The Naperville Park District has announced the band lineup for the 15th season of its Concerts in Your Park series.

Concerts in Your Park is a free, summer music series that travels to select Naperville parks featuring bands from the Chicago area that appeal to audiences of all ages. Concerts run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sundays.

In January, more than 900 residents voted for their preferred park locations and genre of music for the concerts. The 2017 schedule is as follows:

• June 11: Shout Out at Walnut Ridge Park, 2304 Keim Road

• June 25: - Fletcher Rockwell at A. George Pradel Park, 4519 Pradel Drive

• July 9: OMT at Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Road

• July 16: The Hat Guys at Ashbury Park, 1740 Conan Doyle Road

• July 23: Midwest Dueling Pianos at Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave.

• July 30: 28 Days at Buttonwood Park, 801 Buttonwood Circle

"We have another year of quality bands lined up whose music will span several generations and styles, such as rock, pop, country and today's hits," program manager Brittany Malatt said.

Concert goers may bring their own food and beverages or may purchase food from food trucks that may be on-site for some or all of the concerts.

Kona Ice, TCBY and John's Ribs are the 2017 food truck vendors for the Naperville Park District's special events and athletic programs, and more vendors may be added before the season begins.
