Purdue got the highest seed of the three Indiana teams that got NCAA Tournament bids and a chance to play in the Final Four in Indianapolis.

Illinois has been left out of the NCAA tournament for the second time in three seasons. Five other Big Ten teams made the cut. They included Minnesota, which finished behind Illinois in the regular season but made it to the conference tournament final.
