    Brenda Frese handles the responsibilities of coaching the Maryland women’s basketball team, and she has faced the added stress of helping her 7-year-old son, Tyler, who was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 2½.

    Maryland women's basketball coach Brenda Frese is focused on March but is anxiously awaiting May. Pending good reports from his doctor, that's when 7-year-old son Tyler could be declared cancer-free.
