The skinny: Jack Eichel scored all 4 of Buffalo's goals in a 4-2 victory over Ottawa on Saturday that snapped the Sabres' six-game losing streak. Eichel now has 12 goals and 11 assists on the season. ... Buffalo exploded out of the gates with a 9-2-1 start, but managed just 12 goals during its losing streak. ... This will be Henri Jokiharju's first game against his former team since being traded to Buffalo for Alex Nylander in the off-season. Jokiharju, whom the Hawks drafted 29th overall in 2017, has 2 goals and 5 assists and is averaging 16½ minutes of ice time. ... Erik Gustafsson scored his second goal in as many games during the Hawks' victory over Nashville on Saturday. David Kampf, who also scored, has 4 goals in the last 10 games.
