Girls soccer: Burlington Central, Geneva earn wins
Maddie Menke scored 2 goals Friday as the Burlington Central girls soccer team defeated Woodstock North 5-1 in a Kishwaukee River Conference game.
Zoey Kollhoff, Isa Hartmann and Jordan King also scored for the Rockets (7-1, 5-0) while Kollhoff had 2 assists and Megan Majewski and Hartmann added 1 assist each.
Kyle Butler made 4 saves in goal for BC.
Geneva 7, Streamwood 1: Jenna Dominguez had a hat trick and an assist to lead Geneva to this Upstate Eight River win. Annie Brolly, Katie Cannon, Sydney Gratz and Ava Green each added goals for the Vikings (6-3-1, 2-1-0). Izzy Magpantay had 2 assists while Cannon and Brolly added one each. Katie Montgomery was in goal for Geneva.
