Here's what you need to know for this weekend's outdoors expo in Schaumburg:

What: Chicagoland Fishing, Travel & Outdoor Expo

When: Runs through Sunday

Where: Schaumburg Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive, Schaumburg

Highlights: More than 100 travel related exhibitors (including guides, lodges, resorts and regional agencies), as well as major fishing tackle manufacturers and local fishing retailers. Check out a diverse selection of fishing boats and attend seminars with expert instructors and nationally recognized pro fishing celebrities. Get tips at the 5,000-gallon Hawg Trough from pros and try your hand at the casting pond or the fishing simulator.

Hours: noon to 8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Tickets: $12 for adults, $3 for children under 12 on Friday and Saturday with no charge for Sunday; free all days for children under 5. Order online at sportsshows.com/chicago.
