Loyola selects Amanda Berkley as new women's volleyball coach
Amanda Berkley has accepted the job as head women's volleyball coach at Loyola University, school officials announced Thursday.
Berkley, a native of Wisconsin, has led Southern Mississippi to a 104-59 record over the past five season.
"She is a rising star in the profession and in a short time turned the Southern Miss program into a championship contender in Conference USA," said Steve Watson, Loyola's director of athletics/ "Amanda is the perfect fit to deliver a first-class experience to our student-athletes, while leading our program in one of the top volleyball leagues in the nation."
