Boys soccer: Dundee-Crown stays unbeaten

Eric Martinez scored 2 goals and Damian Smiech made 6 saves in goal Saturday as Dundee-Crown's boys soccer team defeated Hampshire 3-0 in Fox Valley Conference action.

Julian Ajroja and James Karl added assists for the Chargers, who remain undefeated on the season at 16-0-2. They are also now 7-0-0 in the FVC and will travel to Jacobs on Tuesday with the conference title on the line.

Burlington Central 6, Harlem 1: The Rockets (6-6-2) notched a nonconference victory thanks in part to the Schrammes, who accounted for half the goals and assists BC compiled. Jack Schramme provided 2 goals and 1 assist while Luke Schramme supplied 1 goal and 2 assists. CJ Heinz and Nick Guy added goals while Kevin Green had 1 assist. Goalkeeper Ryan Parson did a nice job in net with 3 saves.

Bartlett 2, Wheaton North 0: Scoring in each half, the Hawks (4-12-4) posted a shutout in nonconference action. Goalie Zac Rebac paced Bartlett with 3 saves while Oscar Soto led the offense with 1 goal and 1 assist. Rudy Reyes also added a goal and Matt Tobin added an assist.
