Aurora ranked 21st-happiest city in America

Aurora placed 21st in a "Happiest Cities in America" poll sponsored by the personal finance website wallethub.com.

The poll compared 182 of America's largest cities, including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state.

Freemont, California, was ranked first in happiest cities. Aurora was the highest-ranking Illinois city, with Chicago scoring 56th.

Cities were compared across three key metrics of emotional and physical well-being, income and employment, and community and environment. Each city's weighted average across all metrics was used to calculate its overall score and rank order.
