NCH Wellness Center in Arlington Heights reopens

The Northwest Community Healthcare Wellness Center in Arlington Heights has partially reopened, officials announced.

For a limited time, the center at 900 W. Central Road is open to the public without membership requirements, while services offered are fee-based.

Under the state's Phase 3 plan, the center now offers 1-on-1 personal training, Pilates and yoga; outdoor group exercise classes in the fitness yard with up to nine participants; and livestreaming and prerecorded group exercise classes available on computer or mobile phone. The Spa and Kids Club remains closed for now.

All guests will have their temperature checked and health screened before entering. And while everyone will be required to wear a mask while not exercising, masks are not required during exercise. Social distancing guidelines are also in place.
