Film examining 1995 heat wave to be shown for free in Libertyville

The Lake County Audubon Society, St. Joseph Church and Lake-to-Prairie Wild Ones are co-sponsoring the film "Cooked: Survival by ZIP code" to be shown from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 8, at the church, 121 E. Maple Ave., Libertyville.

The film is part of the One Earth Film Festival and examines the deadly heat wave in Chicago in 1995. There is no charge for admission. Refreshments and giveaways will be available.

The first 25 families to attend will receive a bur oak sapling.
