Schaumburg Township providing tax help for seniors

Schaumburg Township is hosting AARP Foundation Tax-Aide services through April 12.

This program offers free, individualized tax preparation for low- to moderate-income taxpayers.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling the township's Senior Services Department at (847) 884-0030. Appointments are first-come-first-served and residents should call early as appointments are limited. Special attention is given to those ages 50 and older and people with disabilities.
