Amazon HQ not coming to Chicago
Chicago will not become home to a new Amazon headquarters, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
Sources told The Wall Street Journal late Monday the retail giant plans to put its second and third headquarters in New York City and Northern Virginia. However, other cities could still be major sites for Amazon, the Journal reports.
Seattle-based Amazon, which set out last year to find a home for an additional headquarters location, has declined to comment on its plans.
An official announcement is expected Tuesday.
