Mundelein veterans ceremony set for Oct. 22
Mundelein Mayor Steve Lentz and the village board will host the fourth annual Veterans Day Recognition Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
This year, the village will recognize Lake County veterans who have served during the Modern Era (1976 - present) and active duty members of the Armed Forces.
Eligible veterans who would like to be recognized for their service are asked to please RSVP as soon as possible by calling (847) 949-3223.
In previous years, the village board proudly recognized veterans of the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War eras.
