Summer projects approved at Barrington District 220 schools
Barrington Area Unit District 220 board members have approved a slew of summer facility projects, including security camera upgrades, fire alarm improvements and restroom renovations.
There also will be electrical work and security system installation for six mobile classrooms that will be added to Grove Avenue Elementary School for the 2018-19 school year.
In April, the board also approved the installation of a key system in all classrooms that will enable teachers to lock the door from inside the classroom during an emergency.
