'American Idol' finalists come to Rosemont Sept. 7

The top seven finalists of this season's "American Idol" will perform as part of a nationwide tour that comes to the Rosemont Theatre Sept. 7.

The American Idol Live! 2018 tour spans three months across more than 40 cities this summer, featuring singers Cade Foehner, Caleb Lee Hutchinson, Catie Turner, Gabby Barrett, Jurnee, Maddie Poppe and Michael J. Woodard, along with Season 8 "American Idol" winner Kris Allen.

The televised singing competition returned to the airwaves this year, now on ABC after 15 seasons on Fox.

Joining the tour on select dates will be In Real Life, winner of ABC's 2017 summer reality competition show "Boy Band."

Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, May 11, at americanidollive.com. VIP packages will be available through vipnation.com.
