Student art for all in Antioch

People spent their Friday evening perusing hundreds of pieces of art during the 33rd annual Student Art Festival hosted by the Antioch Woman's Club.

Student art from Antioch High School, Lakes High School, Antioch Upper Grade School, Emmons, Grass Lake, Millburn and Palombi Schools were featured in this years show at Antioch High School.

Artforms included drawing, painting, sculpture/pottery, and digital art.

Local artists were also on hand with workshops and demonstrations that people attending could participate in.

One competition called the mug olympics pitted 4 students at pottery wheels trying to create the largest cylinder in a set amount of time.
