Aurora cops hunting for gunman

Aurora police are searching for a gunman who fired a shot early Wednesday morning at a 20-year-old man getting out of his vehicle at Center and East Park avenues.

Police said the man ducked when he saw the gun. The shot missed him but struck his car, causing about $200 damage.

The victim told police the shot was fired around 2 a.m. by a man in a silver Hyundai Sonata that had pulled up next to him on Center. He told police there were several men in the vehicle, but he could not describe them.

The men in the car headed east on Center and turned north on Fifth Street.
