Palatine library program highlights newspaper archives
Palatine Public Library District will have a program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, showing how its vast newspaper archive can be used for research.
The free program at the main library, 700 N. North Court, will show feature the library's archives, from the Southampton Hampshire Chronicle of 1772 to the current issue of the Daily Herald. Visitors will learn what archived papers are available at the library and how to use them for family and historical research.
