CLC to host sixth annual women's conference on March 17

The College of Lake County is hosting its sixth annual women's conference called "Empowering the Woman in You: Shattering the Glass Ceiling," from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17. The event, which is open to Lake County women age 16 and older, will take place in Lower Level A Wing of the Grayslake Campus, 19351 W. Washington St. The keynote speaker is Lisa Wilkerson, a Lake County-based marketing executive who will discuss how each woman can achieve her full potential and overcome workplace sexism in order to advance professionally. A complimentary boutique will have free, gently used business attire for job interviews. Registration and a free continental breakfast begin at 8:30 a.m. The event also includes a free lunch buffet.
