Easter Bunny to drop eggs from helicopter in Barrington
A helicopter egg drop featuring the Easter Bunny is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, at Citizens Park in Barrington. Geared for ages 1 to 10, the drop of the fake eggs by the Easter Bunny from the chopper will start at 10:30 a.m. in the Kampert Meadow portion of the park. Officials said the eggs will be filled with special treats for all to hunt and enjoy in the open space outside the pavilion. Parents are asked to limit their children to 15 eggs so everyone gets their share. The fee is $5 per child and $6 the day of the event.
