Police: Naperville woman broke into home through window

A Naperville woman has been charged with breaking into a home through a window while a child was inside Friday morning, police said.

Daniella Harris, 31, is facing charges of felony residential burglary and misdemeanor endangering the life or health of a child, Naperville police said Friday afternoon.

Police said they got a call about 10:30 a.m. from a young girl saying a woman had entered her home through a window.

The girl told police that the woman fled once she saw that someone was inside the home on the 400 block of River Bend Drive, which is just south of the DuPage River and not far from All Saints Catholic Academy and the Naperville Riverwalk.

Police said they immediately started to develop leads about the identity of the suspect and were able to track down Harris and take her into custody.

Police notified residents of the arrest about 5:15 p.m. through a Naper Notify public safety alert.
