Radio-controlled planes, cars, drones and boats take center stage in St. Charles

If you are into the radio control hobby, there were plenty of bargains to be had Saturday at the Fox Valley Aero Club's 13th annual Swap Meet at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles.

More than 100 tables of radio-controlled items were on display in what the club says is the largest meet of its kind in the area. It also featured every level of radio-controlled planes, helicopters, cars, drones and boats.

It was an opportunity for the public to buy overstocked and leftover engines, accessories and ready-to-fly planes from experienced hobbyists, dealers and web vendors.
