Mundelein officials to talk flooding

Mundelein officials will meet Monday as a committee of the whole to discuss alleviating the flooding problems that long have affected a neighborhood near Route 45 and Division Street. It's the area that badly flooded after heavy rains in July 2017, resulting in significant property damage. A consulting firm that studied that flood blamed the problem on inadequate storm sewers and the area's topography. The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle.
