St. Charles Domino's robbed at gunpoint

Police are searching for a man who robbed the Domino's Pizza in St. Charles at gunpoint early Wednesday.

The man, who's described as a 25-year-old Hispanic man, robbed the restaurant at 1450 W. Main St. around 12:15 a.m., police said.

He's accused of entering the front door, brandishing a black handgun and demanding cash from an employee, police said. After an employee handed over cash and his cellphone, the robber fled west on foot toward North 15th Street.

Officers checked the area, and a police dog from the Aurora Police Department responded to help search, but the man was not found, police said.

The robber was about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds. He wore a black hoodie, black ski mask and khaki pants, police said.

The St. Charles Police Department is asking anyone with information to call (630) 377-4435.
