Watergate prosecutor to keynote 10th District Democrats award dinner

Watergate prosecutor and MSNBC contributor Jill Wine-Banks will be the keynote speaker at the Tenth Congressional District Democrats' annual Awards Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield.

In addition to the keynote speech, the event will honor contributions to the Tenth Dems over the past year. The Mikva Leadership Award will be presented to Illinois Comptroller Susana Mendoza.

Tenth Dems is a grass-roots organization that works to elect Democrats at all levels within Illinois' 10th Congressional District, which encompasses much of Lake County and a portion of northwest Cook County.

The buffet dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. at the hotel, 1750 Lake-Cook Road in Deerfield.
