Arlington Heights Hearts of Gold nominations being accepted
Arlington Heights' Special Events Commission is accepting nominations until 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, for its annual Hearts of Gold Awards program, which recognizes those who live or work in the village and have positively affected the lives of others.
Categories include: Mentor, Beautification/Environmental, Best Neighbor, Educator, Young at Heart, Young Champion, Volunteer, Community Spirit, Pam Stocking Heart of Gold, Business Leader and Heroic. Nominations can be submitted at vah.com.
