Report: Cook County commissioner wants legal pot referendum on March ballot

A Cook County commissioner wants to put an advisory referendum on the March 20 ballot asking whether the county should legalize recreational marijuana, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

John Fritchey, a Chicago Democrat, told the Sun-Times that legalizing marijuana could bring in $350 to $700 million at the state level.
